The history of the Telemark canal conveyed through playing with water, activities and through traditional artisanship, by Western Telemark Museum in Eidsborg.
The activity park is a new addition to the museum. In the middle of the park, there is a 105 meter (344 feet) long model of the Telemark Canal with water, locks and boats. Here you can indulge yourself in the history and guide whetstone, timber and tourists all the way from Dalen to Skien.
The park also offers an archeological site activity, log house building, archery and the chance to experience old crafting traditions such as blacksmithing and textile artisanship.
