Lake Follsjø is a beloved spot among the locals—a peaceful and scenic place where you can sunbathe on the rocks and take a refreshing swim in clean, crisp water.
Located at the picturesque Jonrudbukta, this beautiful swimming area has recently undergone a thorough upgrade to offer all visitors an even better experience.
Just steps from the beach, you’ll find a large parking area with space for around 60 vehicles, making access easy and convenient.
Jonrudbukta now features a modern restroom facility equipped with accessible (HCWC) amenities, ensuring comfort and inclusivity for all guests.
Planning to enjoy a meal by the water? Permanent grills are available on-site for those who want to cook and dine outdoors.
Follsjøen also offers excellent fishing all year round—whether it’s summer or winter. And if you’re lucky, you might even reel in a 5 kg trout!
