Day trip: Skien-Dalen-Skien

This is a daytrip for a real canal enthusiast. You will experience the whole canal from Skien to Dalen, with world heritage and incredible nature. There is a cafe inside the boat where you can enjoy good food and drinks.

The package includes a boat trip from Skien – Dalen and a canal coach from Dalen – Skien

 You can park your car at the parking lot on Hjellebrygga pier in Skien. A parking permit is required, further information is on the pier.

• 07.50 am meeting at Hjellebrygga pier in Skien
• 08.10 am departure on board M/S Victoria or M/S Henrik Ibsen from Hjellebrygga. The restaurant on board is open during the whole trip
• 05.50/06.30 pm arrival at Dalen
• 06.30 pm departure with the canal bus from Dalen Pier (Mon – Fri: coach change in Seljord)
• 09.10 pm arrival at Skien (Sat/Sun 21.15)

Period 2021: 19th of May  – 4th of September: every day

Prices 2020:

Adults from 16 years old: 1425 Nkr per person (Saturday and Sunday 1 265 Nkr)

Children 4-15 years old: 260 Nkr per person (Saturday and Sunday 200 Nkr)

Children 0-3 years old: free

Season 2021:

Package price and timetable for this trip is not yet finalized for 2021 because we are awaiting the timetables and fares from the bus companies.

However, you can book your trip now to make sure you have a ticket.

We will confirm the trip to you as soon as it is finalized (probably in February/March 2021).
