Start with the canal ship from Ulefoss locks to Lunde.
The canal ship sails into the heart of the canal landscape.
On your way you will pass two locks, where Vrangfoss is one of them.
Vrangfoss is the largest lock with 5 chambers.
Our comfortable canal bus takes you back to Ulefoss after the cruise.
Travel Route:
M/S Victoria or M/S Henrik Ibsen:
- Kl. 10.00 attendance at Ulefoss locks.
- Kl. 10.30 departure with M/S Victoria or M/S Henrik Ibsen from Ulefoss locks.
- Kl. 12.50 arrival at Lunde lock.
- Kl. 13.40 departure with the canal bus from Lunde lock.
- Kl. 13.55 arrival at Ulefoss locks.
M/S Telemarken (4th July - 4th August):
- Kl. 10.40 attendance at Ulefoss locks.
- Kl. 11.00 departure with M/S Telemarken from Ulefoss locks.
- Kl. 13.15 arrival at Lunde lock.
- Kl. 13.40 departure with the canal bus from Lunde lock.
- Kl. 13.55 arrival at Ulefoss locks.

You can also do this trip the opposite way, by starting in Ulefoss at kl. 12.22 in the afternoon with the canal bus to Lunde, and canal ship back.

Practical information during the canal cruise:
Parking:
Your car can be parked at the parking lot at Ulefoss locks free of charge.
While driving from Ulefoss center, the parking lot is reached about 200 meters before the locks.
It is marked with a parking sign (a large “P”) and the symbol for the Telemark Canal (a boat in a lock).
Meals on board:
There is a restaurant on board M/S Henrik Ibsen and M/S Victoria.
It is possible to prebook lunch with your tickets when travelling with M/S Henrik Ibsen and M/S Victoria.
You can also order food directly at the boat from their menu without prebooking.
If you book tickets for 10 persons or more, we recommend that you prebook meals on board.
It is not possible to book a table for the entire journey, and you can’t bring your own food on board.
M/S Telemarken has a cafè, and it is not possible to prebook meals.
Bus:
The canal bus is limited only to our guests and is a tour bus.
At Lunde the bus stop is located approx. 200 meter from the lock and it stops 100 meters from Ulefoss lock.
Dogs are not allowed, except for guide dogs.

Rate:
Adults from 16 years: From NOK 755,- to NOK 925,- per adult.
Children 4-15 years: From NOK 375,- per person.
Children 0-3 years: Free of charge
